This policy explains how Dedux Tax Consulting and Advisory ("Dedux," "we," "us"), including its GreenFile Advisory practice, collects and uses information through deduxtax.com. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is also governed by the engagement letter for that work.
When you fill out a contact form, request a guide, or request a scoping review, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and message. These forms are processed by FormSubmit, a third-party form service that delivers your submission to our email inbox. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.
We use this information to respond to you, to send the resources you asked for, and to discuss or provide our services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, general location (city or region), and device and browser type. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example, _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site and our content. We have turned off Google Analytics' optional settings for sharing data with Google for its own products and services.

Tax return information our clients share with us is used only to provide the services they engaged us for, and we do not use or disclose it except as permitted under Internal Revenue Code Section 7216 and its regulations. Clients exchange documents with us through our secure client portal, which is provided by TaxDome and covered by TaxDome's own privacy policy.
This site links to other websites, including IRS resources and our social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review their policies.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or tax documents through the website forms. Use the client portal instead.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us through this site, subject to any records we are required to keep. To make a request, email admin@deduxtax.com.
